Our story

A name that
remembers.

Razia Ilyas Optical Complex was founded in 2016 by Abbas Baloch — named in memory of his late parents, and built to bring real eye care to the people of Bhera.

The founder

Abbas Baloch

Abbas Baloch grew up in Bhera, where a proper eye test often meant a long journey to another city. Good spectacles were something you waited for, not something you could simply walk in and ask for.

In 2016 he set out to change that — opening a complex where anyone from the town could have their eyes examined properly and leave seeing clearly, without travelling far or paying more than they could afford.

The name

Razia. Ilyas.

The two names above the door are his parents’. He gave the complex their name so that, every day it opens, it carries them — and so the care they raised him with reaches the whole town.

Razia, his mother.  Ilyas, his father.
In their memory, since 2016.

Why Bhera

Eye care, close
to home.

Razia Ilyas Optical Complex exists so that no one in Bhera has to go without clear sight for want of a clinic nearby. Computerised eye testing, lenses cut and fitted on site, and frames for every budget — all in one place, open seven days a week.

Ten years on, that first promise has not changed. We are still here, and still making eyes happier.

What we stand for

Care within reach

Honest prices, and the same careful examination for everyone who walks in.

The whole town, seen

From schoolchildren to elders — thirty thousand neighbours and counting.

Done properly

Lenses made and fitted in our own lab, most orders ready the same day.

In his words

“I wanted my parents’ name to mean that anyone in Bhera could see clearly. That is the whole of it.”
